I've been a New York State EMT for more than 25 years. In addition to my work here at the Irvington VAC EMS Training Center, I also volunteer with the Valhalla VAC. I'm a Certified Instructor Coordinator affiliated with various public institutions, including John Jay College, Fordham University, as well as Hostos and Westchester Community Colleges. I also work with private clients providing instruction in rescue and resuscitation. 

 

As a special operations supervisor for First Response Ambulance, I manage medical teams covering major venues, events and sports teams, including Citifield, the Barclays Center, Jacob Javits Center, Electric Zoo, the New York Mets, and the Brooklyn Islanders and Nets. As a contract EMT for Amphibious Medics and other private companies, I've served on the medical details of visiting diplomatic units. I'm NAEMSE-certified, as well as an AHA- and ASHI-certified CPR and BLS instructor.
